Primary Job Summary:<br />
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager, RN is responsible for the overall leadership, management, coordination, and oversight of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program in accordance with current evidence-based guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. The Manager provides direct patient care while overseeing departmental operations, staff performance, program development, quality improvement initiatives, budgetary planning, and strategic growth of cardiac rehabilitation services.<br />
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager collaborates with the Cardiologist, attending provider, and organizational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centered rehabilitation services. The Manager maintains accurate and complete records of all patient encounters and departmental activities while functioning within the scope of professional nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Cedar County Memorial Hospital policies, and the Facility Code of Conduct and Ethical Behavior. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager will directly report to the Chief Operating Officer.<br />
Job Duties:<br />
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:<br />
Leadership and Program Management:<br />
•	Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.<br />
•	Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of all Cardiac Rehabilitation Program operations.<br />
•	Develop, implement, monitor, and revise departmental policies, procedures, protocols, and workflows in collaboration with physicians and hospital leadership.<br />
•	Ensure program compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation, and payer requirements.<br />
•	Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate cardiac rehabilitation personnel.<br />
•	Participate in hiring, onboarding, orientation, competency validation, scheduling, performance evaluations, and corrective action processes as needed.<br />
•	Coordinate departmental staffing to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery.<br />
•	Lead departmental meetings and facilitate communication among staff, physicians, and administration.<br />
•	Monitor productivity, quality indicators, patient outcomes, and program effectiveness.<br />
•	Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives for Cardiac Rehabilitation and related outpatient cardiovascular services.<br />
•	Assist with budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and identifying opportunities for operational improvement and revenue enhancement.<br />
Clinical Responsibilities:<br />
•	Evaluate patients prior to initiation of rehabilitation services, including patient history, physical assessment, risk factor assessment, and appropriate testing; document findings appropriately.<br />
•	Assist with patient orientation and development of individualized treatment plans, exercise prescriptions, and patient-centered goals.<br />
•	Utilize department technology and monitoring systems effectively to assess patient status and facilitate documentation.<br />
•	Supervise exercise sessions and monitor patients for inappropriate responses to exercise; provide clinical intervention and referrals as appropriate.<br />
•	Ensure completion of daily documentation in a timely and accurate manner.<br />
•	Report significant patient conditions to the patient&apos;s physician promptly and initiate emergency care and/or ACLS interventions according to hospital policy.<br />
•	Promote discharge planning and patient/family education related to lifestyle modification, home exercise programs, and cardiovascular risk reduction.<br />
•	Complete Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) upon admission, every 30 days, and at discharge.<br />
•	Perform and oversee six-minute walk testing and other required assessments.<br />
•	Participate in the RN on-call schedule.<br />
Quality, Safety, and Compliance:<br />
•	Act responsibly and exercise sound judgment in support of organizational compliance and ethical business practices.<br />
•	Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate actively in hospital-wide performance improvement activities.<br />

Qualifications:<br />

•	Current BLS and ACLS certification. <br />

The successful candidate will be responsible for specimen collection, laboratory testing, result reporting, and associated laboratory operations while ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and patient care.<br />
Duties and Responsibilities<br />

•	Obtain patient specimens through phlebotomy and other approved specimen collection procedures.<br />

Part-Time Float Nurse<br />

Position Overview:<br />
This part-time float nurse supports clinic operations by covering staff absences, high-volume periods, or multiple providers across specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or specialty care. The RN will assist with patient education, triage, medication administration, and coordination of care while maintaining a patient-first focus.<br />
Job Relationships:  <br />
Reports directly to: Clinical Practice Manager<br />
        	Responsible to: Physicians, Practice Providers, and Clinic Supervisors.                                                <br />
<br />
Job Responsibilities<br />
•	Provides direct patient care in accordance with clinic protocols and provider orders.<br />
•	Triages patient phone calls and in-person visits; identifies urgent needs and escalates appropriately.<br />
•	Administers medications and vaccines as ordered, including documentation and patient education.<br />
•	Prepare patients for exams and procedures; assist providers as needed during visits.<br />
•	Accurately documents assessments, interventions, and patient education in the electronic medical record (EMR).<br />
•	Collaborates with providers and care team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.<br />
•	Provides patient education related to diagnoses, medications, lifestyle, and treatment plans.<br />
•	Supports discharge instructions and follow-up scheduling.<br />
•	Monitors and restocks clinical supplies and maintains a clean, organized patient care environment.<br />
•	Floats between clinic departments and specialties depending on staffing needs.<br />
•	Able to work a flexible part-time schedule including coverage for call-ins, vacations, and high-volume days.<br />
•	Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork across various clinic teams.<br />
•	Maintains a calm, professional demeanor in fast-paced, multi-provider settings.<br />
•	Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement activities.<br />
•	Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements and patient privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).<br />
Minimum Requirements:<br />
•	Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri<br />
•	BLS certification (ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain if required by clinic)<br />
•	Previous clinic, ambulatory care, or outpatient experience preferred<br />
•	Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills<br />
•	EMR experience preferred (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or equivalent)<br />

•	Serve as a competent and efficient Radiologic Technologist, ensuring quality x-rays and CT exams <br />
•	Assist in facilitating sufficient clinical workflow; add cases to schedule as necessary to meet patient needs in accordance with established protocols <br />
•	Care for and check equipment, reporting issues to Radiology Manager in a timely manner<br />
•	Be available to clinicians for questions and concerns throughout work schedule<br />

•	Operates all radiology equipment efficiently, effectively, and safely to produce high quality diagnostic images as ordered by provider, using established, up-to-date guidelines and diagnostic imaging protocols <br />
•	Record all information concisely, accurately. and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms; enter all required information into EHR system  <br />
•	Appropriately identifies, prepares, and positions patient for procedures by using established diagnostic imaging processes and protocols; enlists assistance from team members for difficult patients and/or radiologic tests<br />
•	Reviews provider’s order and verifies for accurate demographics and appropriate clinical data to ensure correct procedures is performed; ensures all established safety standards are followed at all times<br />

Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:  <br />
•	Ensuring that patient care and respect is always the number one priority.<br />
<br />
Pre-operative duties:<br />
•	Appropriate donning of OR attire and personal protective equipment (PPE)<br />
•	Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure<br />
•	Performs the surgical scrub, appropriately donning gown and gloves<br />
•	Sets up the sterile back table and stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure<br />
•	Performs initial instrument, sharps, and sponge counts<br />
•	Assists other team members with gowning and gloving<br />
•	Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field<br />
•	Participates in surgical site and patient verification during the time-out procedure<br />
•	Secures tubing, cords, and other sterile accessories<br />
<br />
Intraoperative duties:<br />
•	Prepares and anticipates need for additional instrumentation, equipment and supplies for usage during the procedure<br />
•	Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedure<br />
•	Measurers and passes medications, hemostatic agents, and irrigation solutions utilized during the surgical procedure<br />
•	Holds retractors or instruments as directed by the surgeon<br />
•	Sponges or suctions the operative site<br />
•	Apply electrocautery to clamps on bleeders<br />
•	Cuts suture material as directed by surgeon<br />
•	Coordinates the camera or changes out robotic arms/instruments during endoscopic surgery as directed by the surgeon<br />
•	Maintains highest standards of sterile technique during the procedures<br />
•	Performs additional counts as necessary throughout procedure<br />
•	Prepares sterile dressings and/or immobilization devices<br />
•	Prepares and passes off specimen(s) as necessary<br />
•	Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization<br />
•	Assists other members of the team with terminal cleaning of room<br />
•	Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient<br />
•	Participates in debriefing and quality improvement practices to ensure quality patient care<br />

•	Assists in maintaining normothermia<br />

•	Assist with applying tourniquets and monitors before the procedure begins<br />
•	Completes the patient skin prep prior to draping by the sterile surgical team <br />

•	Anticipates additional supplies that may be needed during the procedure and prepares accordingly<br />

Required Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:<br />

•	National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification (NBSTSA) as a Surgical Technologist<br />
